A cross-posting from my personal blog, on my recent walk on the Western States Trail from Squaw Valley to Auburn, which of course included about 20 miles in the Granite Chief Wilderness.

My next trip is in the Mokelumne Wilderness (not posted), where I’ve not been in five years, and then back to the Granite Chief.
